Q1 2021 Performance of Crime Games on Android in the UK

The first quarter of 2021 has been an intriguing period for crime-themed gaming apps on Android in the United Kingdom. Using insights from Sensor Tower, we have observed the performance of the top five applications in this category.

Manor Matters by Playrix showed a consistent increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $50K in the last week of March. Downloads had a notable surge in the first week of February, reaching over 34K, but then followed a downward trend, concluding the quarter at around 9K. Weekly active users spiked to nearly 125K in early February but gradually decreased to 89K by the end of March.

CASUAL AZUR GAMES' Hitmasters experienced a slight increase in revenue in mid-February, reaching $433, yet ended the quarter with lower revenue at around $271. The game's downloads saw a significant drop from 25K at the end of December to just over 6K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at around 104K and ending the quarter at 38K.

Lion Studios' Ropeman 3D launched in late January and, due to negligible revenue figures, the focus is on its downloads and active users. The game saw its highest downloads at 32K in the first week of February, but this figure fell to about 4K by the end of March. Active users peaked at 33K in the same period but decreased to slightly over 6K.

Clash Gang: Epic Beat Em by AMANOTES PTE LTD had no revenue to report but showed a downloads peak of over 14K in late January. By the end of March, downloads declined to approximately 2K. The weekly active users saw a high of 20K in early February, concluding the quarter at about 6K.

Finally, Johnny Trigger: Action Shooter from SayGames Ltd displayed a revenue peak in mid-January at just over $1K and ended the quarter with $633. Downloads reached a high of 10K in mid-February but saw an uptick to 8K at the quarter's end. Active users had a high of 74K in mid-February and experienced a modest increase to 57K in the last week of March.
